That Obama, he's one cool cat when under pressure. I am an Obama fan, but what made me really like him back when he was still running against Hillary and McCain was his coolness under pressure. When most people would get upset and let their anger start taking over, he kept it cool. I think that ability really flustered his opponents and it made him look good.
That ability to stay cool has helped him so far in the economic crisis, the voting fraud in Iran and his reaction, going to Russia, and the many different stressful things he's dealt with thus far in his presidency. He doesn't seem like a man who is going to succumb to criticism and that when it comes down to make the tough decisions (like sending troops out to war) he'll be able to do it with a clear head.
This is so great to me because it is in direct contrast to Bush part 2. On camera, Bush let his emotions control him. He said stupid things because of it and, I'm sure, made poor decisions because of it to.
It's refreshing to see and obviously intelligent president make decisions based on the best available information in a logical, not emotional, manner. I can't imagine how difficult that making decisions that can have such huge consequences for millions of people without strong emotions swaying your decisions. I'm glad I don't have to be in that position.
